NEW USER ACCOUNT NOW UNDER “ waynestyr”

I called this guy out and he replies with blatant lies. He says I didn’t want to do any paperwork and wouldn’t meet him at a gun store so he “didn’t feel comfortable”. 😂 But hey, he also said he didn’t ghost me after I agreed to his price and his terms (which included me driving 45min to meet up) — He just had to go to the doctor and left his phone home, that’s why he no-showed. And I believed that enough to try to set something up for when I could come pick it up over the next few days … He made more excuses then eventually just stopped replying/ghosted me.

Furthermore, he says I “blew up his phone” which is true but it was AFTER he stopped responding when I was trying to find out when I could come pick up (days AFTER he ghosted me in person.) Pretty clear he just sold it to someone else and doesn’t respect people’s time or honor deals that were made.

I don’t know why he would lie on a public forum when our entire interaction was via text and I can easily upload more screenshots. The dude is a joke — Obviously we aren’t going to do business ever again, but I’ll make sure others know of his dishonest behavior. AVOID OR GOOD LUCK!

Here’s the timeline:
1.) I made trade plus cash offers
2.) He set a cash price for all items (firearm, holster, ammo)
3.) I accepted
4.) I asked for clarification of all items included so we could have a concise gentlemen’s agreement
6.) He confirmed, but said he only had the firearm on him at the time — But we could meet up at CAL Ranch or Harbor Freight in Rexburg for all the items
7.) I accepted, said I’m south toward Shelley but needed to run an errand in town then would head up that way
8.) I texted and said I was getting on the highway, needed to confirm storefront for meetup
9.) He didn’t reply
10.) I called and only after a couple rings it went directly to voicemail (can’t prove, but this usually means the call was rejected)
11.) I texted again, asking for what store we were meeting at
12.) He didn’t reply
13.) I wasted a lot of time and gas
14.) I texted him the next day, “I’m not sure if your phone died or what but that was a big waste of time and gas.”
15.) He replied saying he had to take his kid to the doctor and left his phone home
13.) I said that’s fine, things happen and asked if we could meet in town
14.) He said he couldn’t because he was still caring for his child
15.) I said that’s fine, and asked if I could pick it up the next day
16.) He didn’t reply
17.) I noticed the listing was removed
18.) I followed up
19.) He didn’t reply
Then 18-19 repeats until I gave up
