I got in early on the 338 ARC excitement and put together this fever dream. I wanted to get as much range out of a suppressed subsonic rifle as I could, mainly for range fun. I've taken it for one range trip and put about 100 rounds of Hornady Sub-X through it and decided that I was going to to a custom traditional bolt action version, so I won't be needing this.
First picture is how I had it set up. The upper itself doesn't include the first pictures scope, mount, or suppressor. $800
Upper Details:
Solo 300 Straight Pull Receiver and bolt carrier
Toolcraft 338 ARC bolt
Ballistic Advantage 12.5" .338 ARC Hanson Barrel, Gas Block, and Gas Tube
Aero Precision 15" Enhanced Quad Rail (chose this to accommodate the 1.7" diameter of my suppressor. Most cans will fit under this handguard and won't interfere with mounting of accessories due to the picatinny interface)
Rearden FHD - a straight forward plan B QD mount for suppressors.
GG&G bipod adapter
If desired, I'll bundle this with a killer deal on a great new in box scope and mount for $460 (street price of $670)
Athlon Optics Heras HMR 6-24x56
Athlon Optics Armor Cantilever 30mm Scope Mount
Upper and Optic Package $1260
