Racing Legend Dick Barbour's Collection of Tether Cars Up for Auction (100 cars in total)

Dick Barbour is a legend in motorcar racing winning his class (and 2nd overall) at the 24h of Le Mans in 1979 with another legend, Paul Newman, from Hollywood fame. Dick won many other championships and was named one of Porsche's top 50 race car drivers of all time.

Dick also has a passion for Tether Cars that started as a young boy (he’s 83 now). Over the years he has collected an absolutely stellar collection of pre-war and later model tether cars (100 cars in total) that he is now reluctantly putting up for auction.

The photos here are just a few examples of the cars available. Auction is February 1,2, & 3.
