I rebuild and upgrade battery packs for power tools like Milwuakee, Dewalt, Ryobi, Rigid, etc. If you have a battery that dies way too quick, I can get it back up on its feet for cheap. I can refurbish them, and even upgrade them for cheap as well.
I don't charge any diagnoses fee crap since I usually already know whats wrong based on what you tell me.
I can also fix and rebuild battery packs for electric scooters and e bikes, which typically are even easier.
Most Manufactures use second rate cells to mark a clear distinction between the different product lines, so dropping in better cells than OEM is fairly easy for me to do. Whether its an e-bike, e-scooter, go kart, or just power tool battery packs.
And Yes, even the Milwaukee Forge Line uses last gen cells and I can upgrade those to have a higher capacity and higher current draw since the pack was designed around 2024 cells.
My price for battery packs is $20 bucks for a small pack and whatever the cells cost for replacing them (typically under $4 cell, 5 cells in a small pack). As an Example, I just did 2 full rebuilds for small Milwuakee 1.5Ah packs at $40 each that even upgraded the cells from 1.5Ah to 2.5Ah. And before you think, "Oh well, he used cheap cells that have a high capacity, but can't discharge much current." I am literally using cells that are higher quality than OEM, have a higher capacity, a higher peak discharge, higher maximum continuous discharge, and a longer cycle life. Its crazy to me that even Milwuakee is trying to use crap in order for the packs to die sooner.
I charge a flat fee and the cost of materials on top, I'm super transparent, I send receipts of what I purchased material at and can show you how much it costs me so you know that you aren't being ripped off.
I can even do lead acid to Li-Ion conversions if you want to convert something for higher performance and lighter weight.
