Long story i jumped on a buy of An 1897 winchester pump action shotgun been wanting one for many years and finally grabbed one. but unfortunately the previous owner of it wasn’t too smart and whatever they did left a bulge in the barrel my guess is that they shot a heavy load or steel shot through it and these older shotguns can’t handle modern pressures of steel. unfortunately it’s too close to the receiver for it to be saved but i’m not wanting to give it up. i’m trying my luck on here to see if anyone has or is aware of a barrel for this shotgun there are two different models of the gun a solid frame and a take down i am in search of the take down model. i have pictures on this listing for reference
