The tikka action is very smooth. Rifle is paired with a very nice, lightweight Leupold VX-3i 4-14x (30mm tube) scope with the CDS (Custom Dial System). The cds system is configured for the 270 and put the turret into yardage, very easy, if your game is at 500 yards just turn the dial to 5 and shoot.
