This is not a true replica of any particular Colt although it is mainly a combination of an 1860 army and an 1851 navy. The grip parts, frame/arbor, and internals are all new parts made by Pietta and replicate the Colt 1860 army. The cylinder and barrel, also made by Pietta, were used parts and are akin to the Colt 1851 navy with the barrel being a replica of the confederate states army Griswold and Gunnison. I did have to do some sanding and filing of the internal parts to fit and time it all. I have fired the barrel and cylinder on a different frame with no issues. I stripped and re blued the barrel and cylinder and would do some touch up on the barrel if a buyer wanted.
I will include another 5.5” barrel made by an older Italian importer with a new pietta load lever. The load lever is just slightly too long and would need to be modified to make fit in the lock. I will also include a box of almost 100 lead round ball and potentially some other things to get you started for the full asking price.
Not really looking for trades but doesn’t hurt to ask- only trades I will even consider would be other firearms, ammo or accessories. Thanks.
